The lifting arm sets how a sling hangs and how much room the client has through the stand. The U-shape arm for the Molift Quick Raiser 1 and 2 carries its sling attachment points further apart, giving a wider, more open support across the trunk.
That extra spread suits clients with a larger build, and it gives the carer clear access to the front of the client for clothing management and toileting during the transfer. The arm fits the same column mount, so an existing hoist can be reconfigured without a service call.
