Who it suits
Clients who need a full body lift in a setting where the transfer is not routine: acute wards, critical care, complex home situations where the client’s presentation changes from day to day. The Partner 255 is built around a vertical lifting pattern, which keeps the client at the same distance from the mast the whole way up.
That matters because the client is not swung in towards the column and then out again, so the position they were set up in is the position they arrive in. Carers get a more predictable lift and clients get a less alarming one.
A four point sling bar gives a roomy, open sling hang. The frame is aluminium and steel, and the battery is nickel metal hydride. This listing is supplied without a suspension or sling bar, so those are specified separately to suit the slings already in use. A version with support arms is available for clients who need something to hold or push against.
