One motor, more than one rail. The Molift Nomad is a portable ceiling hoist motor light enough for a carer to lift on and off, so it moves between a bedroom rail and a bathroom rail, between a ceiling track and a freestanding gantry, or between home and respite. There is no need for a permanent motor on every rail.
This version carries a higher safe working load than the standard Nomad, which covers heavier users without moving to a fixed bariatric system. It has an integrated four-point sling bar with loop attachment and takes any passive Molift sling, so sling choice stays open. The housing is reinforced composite and aluminium, and it is supplied with a hand control and charger.
It suits clients who need overhead transfers in two rooms, where sharing one motor between two rails is the sensible spend, and clients in rental or temporary housing where a gantry rather than a fixed track is the practical option. Lifting height depends on the rail or gantry it hangs from, so we check that at the site visit.
