About this product

The Molift scoop stretcher is for horizontal hoisting, where a client has to be lifted flat. It suits people who are unconscious or sedated, clients with a suspected spinal injury, and anyone whose pain, tone or medical state rules out a seated sling transfer.

It splits into two halves, so each half can be worked in from one side of the client and locked together underneath without rolling them. The locks hold under load and release when the stretcher is unloaded. Handles run down both sides for manual handling, and it connects to a four point Molift suspension for hoisted lifts.

The body is a plastic composite with stainless steel locks, so it can go into X-ray, CT and MRI without transferring the client off it. That is useful in hospital, in emergency response and in any service that escorts clients to imaging.
