About this product

A mobile bassinet for a maternity ward, a nursery or a paediatric unit, where the baby needs to stay beside the mother and move with her around the unit.

The moulded acrylic bassinet is clear, so staff can see the infant from any angle without leaning in, and it lifts out of the frame completely for cleaning between occupants. The mattress is padded and thick enough for comfortable sleep on a flat surface. The mobile frame is stable and light enough for a midwife to move single handed.

It can be modified to take a waste outlet, which turns the same unit into a mobile bath for washing the baby at the bedside.
