Wheelchair rugby is a contact sport and the chair takes the hits. The Rhino is built for that, by fabricators working for a company with more than twenty years in the sport, and it is regarded as one of the best rugby chairs made anywhere.
Offensive and defensive builds are both available. Offensive chairs take a range of wing designs, single, double or inverted, and defensive chairs take pick bars in styles developed with players over two decades. If a player wants something that is not on the list, the team will build the design they draw.
The frame is heat treated, the seat width and back can be tapered, and back upholstery tension is adjustable so the player can set their own trunk position. Anti-tips come with alloy or plastic plating protection, and footplates are ABS or alloy, fixed or fully adjustable. Precise fabrication from the player’s own measurements is what makes the chair comfortable and the push efficient over a full game.
