About this product

Some passengers undo a seatbelt the moment the car is moving. The Houdini 13H is a vehicle positioning harness built for exactly that problem, with all three buckles fastening behind the seat backrest where the wearer cannot reach them.

It suits people with autism, ADHD, developmental delay or other behavioural needs that make travel unsafe, and it is equally useful for postural support where a passenger with a physical disability slumps or slides during a trip. The carer works from behind the seat to fit it, so good access around the seat back and under the cushion is needed. It can also be fitted to a wheelchair or some easy chairs.

This size is the large, with an anti-escape buckle that only releases when the catch is lifted and the belt tensioned. The vehicle seatbelt is always worn over the top of the harness. A webbing slicer is supplied with every harness and should stay in the car.
