A wrist strap keeps the cane with the client when they let go of it. Opening a door, taking a handrail, paying at a counter: the stick swings from the wrist instead of dropping to the floor.
It attaches to the Alpha handle and adjusts to sit comfortably above the wrist bone. For a client who cannot safely bend to pick a cane up, or who needs both hands free for a moment at a time, it removes one of the small frustrations that leads people to leave a prescribed stick at home.
