The Marcy is an anterior walker, so the frame sits in front of the child and they walk into it. For a child taking their very first steps, having something to lean into and steer is often more reassuring than a frame behind them, and the position builds trunk strength while they walk.
Who it suits
It is intended for children around GMFCS levels II to IV, from first walking attempts through to confident indoor and outdoor use. The wheelbase adjusts: shorten it for turning in tight spaces at home, lengthen it when the child needs more support and a steadier base.
Handle height and width adjust to the child, and three dimensionally adjustable forearm supports let you set a position that stabilises the gait pattern. Friction brakes on the rear wheels control the pace, and PU tyres roll well while still making transfers easy. This listing is the frame only, so accessories can be chosen to suit the child.
