About this product

Getting a heavy or weak leg onto a bed, into a car or up onto a footplate is one of the most common reasons a client calls for help at night. A leg lifter lets them do it themselves, using their arms.

The strap loops under the foot and is pulled from a handle at the top end, so the stronger upper body does the work and the hip and knee are guided, not dragged. It stores flat beside the bed and needs no setup, which matters at two in the morning.

It suits clients with hemiplegia, lower limb weakness, a recent joint replacement or poor hip flexion, and it can take overnight care calls out of a support plan.
