Good light is the cheapest diagnostic aid in a consulting room. The PML1 puts a bright, cold white LED on a flexible gooseneck, so the beam goes exactly where the clinician needs it for examination, minor procedures and wound care.
The head is small and sits on a handle with the on and off switch built in, which means the light can be repositioned mid procedure without reaching past the work or blocking the line of sight. A stepless dimmer sets the level precisely, with no fixed preset steps to work around. The LED runs cold, so there is no radiant heat on the patient or the clinician’s hands, and there are no fans or moving parts to service.
Colour rendering is good enough for assessing skin, tissue and wound beds, which is where a warm or uneven light causes problems.
This model is black and comes with both a mobile base and a wall mount, so it can be trolley mounted in one room and fixed in another.
