Forearm platforms suit a child who cannot take weight reliably through the hands and wrists, so loading is shared along the forearm instead. Common reasons are contracture, pain, weak grip or a hand position that cannot be corrected for the length of a walking session.
Each platform adjusts for height, depth and position across the frame, and the handgrip moves forward and back, rotates and angles. That range lets you set a shoulder and elbow position that a child can hold, and change it again as tone or strength shifts through a block of therapy.
Supplied as a pair and available in two sizes, so the platform length can be matched to the child’s forearm. They fit the Klip gait trainer and can be added to a frame already in use.
