This is the frame that lets a basket attach to a Klaxon Klick. Without it the basket has nothing to mount to, so it is ordered alongside the basket on a first fit, or on its own when a client already owns a basket and is moving it to a different Klick.
It is the version for the wider group of Klick models, so check which model your client drives before ordering, since a second version covers the remaining models. A technician fits it once and the basket then clips on and off without tools.
For a client who does their own shopping, this small part is what turns the power add on into something they can run errands with. It stays on the Klick and adds very little bulk when the basket is removed.
