About this product

Some wheelchair and power add on combinations run light at the front, which shows up as the drive wheel slipping on wet footpaths, loose gravel or a steep driveway. Adding weight over the drive wheel is the straightforward fix.

These traction weights bolt to the Klick and press the drive wheel harder into the ground, so the motor puts its power down through the tyre. Clients notice it most on hill starts, on damp concrete and on any surface where the chair used to lose grip under acceleration.

They are supplied as a pair and can be fitted or removed by a technician, so the setup can be tuned to the person, their usual routes and how much weight they want to carry. Worth considering for any client who reports the add on slipping on hills or in the wet.
