Bariatric seating often falls back on a sling because the postural options run out at the wider widths. The J3 Plus carries the J3 contour and hardware through to the wide sizes, so a larger client gets the same trunk support anyone else would be prescribed.
An optional pivoting lower shell extension gives room for posterior tissue while the upper shell keeps working on the trunk, which helps when the pelvis sits forward of the back canes.
