The J3 is the JAY back to reach for when the client’s shape and the chair both have to be accommodated properly. It is a lightweight contoured shell with a soft foam insert and a spacer fabric cover, ordered to a configuration you specify.
Five shell shapes cover everything from a client who needs a flat posterior surface with light thoracic containment through to someone who needs deep pelvic or thoracic capture to stay upright. Heights run from lower thoracic through to shoulder height, so a client with good trunk control gets only what they need and a client with none gets support all the way up.
The Spine-Align system underneath the cover uses individual foam pieces on hook and loop, so a fitter can build out a kyphosis, a lordosis or a rotation at the fitting and change it at review without replacing the back.
Hardware is chosen to suit the chair, with options for ultralight frames and for tilt-in-space.
