Children outgrow seating faster than funding cycles allow for. The JAY GS is built around that problem: a large well cutout lets a small child start seated at the front of the cushion, and a shelf extension is added later as leg length increases, so the same cushion keeps working through a growth spurt.
This positioning version adds lateral pelvic, lateral thigh and medial thigh supports, all attached with loop-side Velcro so they can be moved as the child’s shape changes. A JAY Flow fluid insert handles pressure at the bony points, and contracture cutouts in the foam base protect the lower limbs.
The extra cover is the practical part for families: one goes in the wash after a spill or an accident while the other stays on the chair, so the child is not out of their seating waiting for it to dry. Both covers use a stretch fabric with an antibacterial fibre and a spacer layer for airflow.
