The 4WayGlide LPL Mattress is the padded layer of an in bed repositioning system for clients who cannot move themselves in bed. Your client lies on the quilted mattress, and with a low friction sheet beneath it, carers can move them up the bed, down, or side to side with a steady pull.
Handles set into the mattress give carers something proper to hold at a sensible working height, which takes a lot of the bending and twisting out of repositioning rounds. The same handles let the mattress be attached to a hoist where a full lift is still needed.
