When the bed is fine but the surface is not, an overlay is the quicker change. The ActiveFloat topper adds a pressure relieving layer on top of an existing mattress for clients at high risk of skin breakdown.

The ActiveFloat material stays pliant even under maximum compression, so it keeps wrapping bony prominences and resists bottoming out, and it softens around areas that are warm or inflamed. SlideSkin under the cover reduces shear at the skin during repositioning.

The Zerotec cover is waterproof with welded seams and wipes clean, with a waterfall flap over the zip to keep fluid out. It can also go over selected alternating air mattresses, where it reduces heat loss and makes the surface more comfortable to lie on.
