Coccydynia makes sitting the hardest part of the day. This wedge has a cut out at the back so the tailbone is not in contact with the seat, and body weight is carried by the surrounding tissue instead.
The wedge shape does a second job: it tilts the pelvis gently forward, which encourages a more upright spinal position and takes some of the strain out of long sitting. Together the cut out and the incline suit clients recovering from a coccyx injury, people managing tailbone pain and anyone who sits for extended stretches at a desk or in a vehicle.
An ActiveX pressure relieving core moulds under the client rather than pressing back, and a removable insert adjusts the height so the wedge can be matched to the chair. The breathable cover comes off and washes.
