Tights and compression stockings are harder again than socks, because both legs have to go in before anything can be pulled up. The Dorking tights aid uses a double gutter so the garment is loaded once and both feet go in together.
The client feeds the tights onto the flexible plastic gutters, secures them in the side slots, puts both feet in, then draws the garment up the legs with the long cords while staying seated. It keeps the client out of the forward bend that hip and spinal precautions rule out, and it takes the load off shoulders and hands.
It is supplied retail packed, so it is ready to issue at the end of a home visit.
