A portable handle that gives someone a solid thing to grip when they are getting up. It is used at the couch, the bed, the toilet and the car, held by a carer or braced by the user to give a better angle on the way to standing.
For clients who bruise easily, it takes the pulling off the forearm and shoulder, and for carers it moves the effort away from a bent back. Small change, but it is often what keeps an informal carer able to keep assisting at home.
The grip is non slip and the handle is light enough to keep in a bag or the car door pocket. It comes in blue, cream and red.
