The ergonomic saddle gives a Grillo user partial weight bearing through the seat while they walk. For a client who tires quickly or whose legs give way part way through a session, it carries enough of the body weight that stepping stays possible and safe for longer.
It also helps keep the hips in a reasonable position during gait practice, which matters when a client tends to scissor or collapse inwards. The saddle is padded and shaped so the client can sit into it between steps without needing to be lifted out and repositioned.
Height is adjustable on the frame, so you can set how much weight the client takes through the legs and reduce it as endurance improves. It comes in three sizes to suit the frame the client is already using.
