A two step stool for bridging a height a client cannot manage in one movement, most often getting up onto a bed, a treatment couch or into a high vehicle. Two shallower rises are easier to negotiate than one deep one when knee or hip range is limited.
It suits clinic and gym use as well as the home. In a therapy setting the two levels give you a graded step up and step down task, so the same piece serves as an access aid and as a rehabilitation tool.
Because it stands free, it can be moved to wherever the problem actually is, whether that is a bedside, a bathroom step or a back door.
