The Forte 320 is an Australian made floor hoist built for bariatric transfers. The twin mast design opens up the space the client occupies during the lift, and the open cradle keeps them from feeling boxed in, which matters when someone is anxious about being lifted.
Leg spread is electric and driven from the hand control, so a carer can open the base around a chair or a bed without crouching to a foot pedal. The base sits low for access under beds and furniture, and twin wheel castors spread the load and keep it steering smoothly on carpet. A lithium battery pack gives a long run of lifts between charges.
Who it suits
It suits clients who need fully assisted transfers at a high body weight, and services that want one lifter covering their heaviest clients. Slings are selected separately to match the person.
