Who it suits
The Etac Turner PRO is for a person who can bear weight through their legs and take part in a transfer, but who needs something solid to pull up on and a safe place for their feet while they turn. It suits bed to chair, chair to commode and car transfers where a full hoist is more equipment than the situation calls for.
The angled leg support is padded and adjusts to suit the person’s height, so their shins stay supported through the stand. The orange handle is deliberately high in contrast, which helps clients with low vision or dementia find the grip, and it offers several hand positions depending on strength and reach.
For carers, the cast aluminium base plate has an anti slip function built in and works on carpet, vinyl and tile. The footprint is small enough for a home bathroom or a bedside in a shared room, and it is light enough for one person to carry between rooms or lift into a car boot.
