About this product

Getting up off a low toilet is where a lot of clients come unstuck, particularly after a hip or knee replacement or when quad strength is dropping away. The Etac Swift Freestanding stands over the existing toilet on its own legs, sets the seat at the height the client needs and gives them solid armrests to push through on the way up and down.

Because nothing bolts to the pan, it works over both floor-mounted and wall-mounted toilets, and it moves out of the way when someone else needs the bathroom. A splash guard is built into the seat. The legs have non-slip ferrules that grip a wet tiled floor, and the frame is non-corroding, so it can also be used as a shower stool. The seat can be set with a slight forward tilt to make standing easier and take load off the hips.

It assembles without tools and a back support, soft pads and a pan can be added later as needs change.
