One frame, three places it can be used. The Etac Swift works beside the bed as a commode, over the toilet as a raised seat with arm support, and in the shower as a shower chair, which matters when the client’s room or bathroom cannot hold three separate pieces of equipment.
The legs adjust for height, so you can set it to suit the client’s rise rather than the other way around, and the seat has a front opening for personal hygiene. The pan is included and its lid locks itself shut for carrying, which takes some of the unpleasantness out of the job for a carer. Soft pads on the seat, back and arms make longer sitting bearable and come off for cleaning, and the backrest and arm supports detach when they are not wanted.
It is a common supply for post-surgical recovery, palliative care at home, and aged care rooms where reducing the number of items in the room is part of the goal. The aluminium and polyamide frame does not corrode in the shower and it is light enough to move between rooms.
