This accessory adds a pair of supporting legs to the Etac My-Loo Fixed toilet seat with arm supports. The legs take load at the front of the unit, which lifts the rated maximum user weight and opens the My-Loo up to clients who would otherwise be over the limit for a bolt-on seat.
It is supplied for top fixing, also called blind fixing: the screw set fastens from above the pan, so it can be used where there is no access underneath the rim to reach a conventional bolt. Check the client’s pan before ordering, because the fixing method is the deciding factor, not the seat itself.
The legs lift with the arm support when it is raised. That keeps the floor clear for a carer to get in close, reduces trip hazard and makes cleaning around the toilet easier. It is for use with the Etac My-Loo Fixed toilet seat with arm supports only.
