The Etac Cloo is a raised toilet seat with arms that clamps to a standard toilet bowl without tools. It lifts the client to a workable height and gives them a solid push-up point on each side, which covers most of what a person needs after hip or knee surgery.
Spacers set the raise, with a further set available if more height is wanted, and the seat can be fitted with a forward tilt to make standing easier. The arm supports fold back and detach, so the toilet is clear for other people in the house. Surfaces are smooth with no exposed screws, which makes cleaning quick.
It suits clients with arthritis or reduced leg strength who need a higher seat and arm support but not a full over toilet frame. Because it clamps to the bowl, it is a fixed installation for one toilet rather than something that moves around the house, and the clean lines suit a shared bathroom where a freestanding frame would be in the way.
