About this product

An elevating legrest supports the lower leg and lets the knee be brought towards extension while the client stays seated. It is the part you specify when oedema, a post surgical restriction or pain through the knee means the leg cannot spend the day at ninety degrees.

The calf sits against a padded support that takes the weight of the limb, and the angle is set by the carer or the client at any point in the range. Left and right are ordered separately, so a client who only needs one side supported is not paying for a pair.

Because the legrest changes the effective length of the front of the chair, check clearance at the footplate and turning space in the client’s home before it goes into service.
