Four point mounting gives you control over the angle the belt pulls at, which is what you want when the pelvis needs to be held at a set position and kept there. This Dreamline padded hip belt anchors at four points and tightens from the centre, so the pelvis is drawn back into the seat squarely.
Setting the angle of pull matters clinically: it is how you stop a belt riding up over the abdomen on a client who thrusts or extends. The four anchor points let you fix that geometry to the chair and keep it there. The padded section protects the skin over the front of the pelvis, and ribbed webbing with stainless steel adjusters holds the tension you set.
It comes with either a metal centre release buckle or a plastic side release buckle depending on how the client and carers manage fastening.
