The K Care Deluxe sits with two legs in the bath and two outside, so your client sits down on the dry side and slides across the moulded seat rather than stepping over the rim. That step is where most bathroom falls start.
The legs adjust in height to level the bench across the rim and to set the seat where your client can sit down and stand up from it. The aluminium frame is light enough to lift out when someone else in the house wants the bath, and the suction cap feet hold it in place. The backrest removes if your client would rather have an open seat to shuffle across.
It suits a client who cannot safely step over the side of a bath but can sit and shuffle sideways, alone or with one carer guiding their legs. It is a common choice after hip or knee surgery, with reduced balance, or with fatigue-related conditions, in homes where the bath is the only place to shower.
Good to know
- Assembly is required
- The backrest removes if the client prefers an open seat
- Measure bath width and the floor to rim height before ordering, as the bench must sit level inside and outside the bath
