The low build Vicair O2 Vector with the Comfair cover suits a client who needs postural shaping and pressure care without gaining sitting height. Nine adjustable compartments of air filled SmartCells sit under a contoured surface, so support can be set under each part of the pelvis and thighs.
The Comfair cover is knitted polyester with 3D mesh sides, chosen to keep air moving and to follow the contour of the cushion and not flatten it. It has an anti slip base and a marked rear so carers put it back the right way round.
Cushion and cover both wash in a normal machine with the cells in, which keeps infection control straightforward.
