A wound or a sensitive area at the coccyx or perineum changes what a cushion has to do. The Centre Relief O2 is built for it: the middle compartment is emptied to whatever extent you need, creating an adjustable non contact area under the tissue at risk, while the compartments around it carry the client through the thighs and ischial region.
Because the offload is made by hand, it can be tightened or relaxed at each review without changing the cushion. That suits post surgical clients whose loading tolerance moves week to week, and clients with a long standing injury who need the relief to stay in place.
This version includes the reversible cover, with a fluid resistant face and a cool stretch face, so the client or carer can turn it to suit the setting.
