A wet tile floor around the toilet is a slip risk and a smell problem, and it is one of the most common things carers raise. The Conni Toilet Floor Mat is shaped to fit around the base of the pan and catches the drips before they reach the floor.
The top layer is fast-absorbing polyester, a waterproof inner barrier stops anything soaking through, and the textured rubberised backing grips hard floors so the mat does not slide underfoot. It is thin enough that a walking frame or a shuffling foot will not catch on the edge, and it washes and goes back down.
It helps men with dribble or poor aim, clients with urgency who do not always make it in time, and anyone using a urinal bottle at the toilet. Keep it to dry, smooth hard floors: it is not made for a shower recess, a bath or carpet. Hand wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry flat outdoors, and skip the fabric softener and bleach.
