A towel on the bathroom floor is the most common falls hazard in a home, and it is usually there because something keeps getting wet. The Conni mat does that job properly: a fast-absorbing polyester top pulls water, urine or spills straight in without splashing, and a rubberised waterproof backing keeps the liquid off the floor and grips so the mat itself does not slide.
It is thin enough to lie flat with no lip for a foot or a walker wheel to catch. It washes by hand in soapy water on both faces and dries flat in the sun, so it can go back down the same day. There is a range of sizes from a small mat for beside the toilet up to a hallway runner, in five colours.
Use it beside the bed, in front of the kitchen sink, at the back door, or in the bathroom, including for clients with continence issues where drips are the slip risk.
Good to know
- Do not use bleach or fabric softener
- Dry flat in the sun; do not hang over a rail
- Check the backing grips on the floor type, especially on polished tiles
- Sizes and colours are cut to a set range; not all colours are stocked in the two largest sizes
