The Breezy Cirrus G5 is a tilt-in-space manual wheelchair with back recline as well as tilt, so a client’s position can be changed through the day for pressure care, comfort and rest.
Who it suits
It suits a client who cannot reposition themselves, who fatigues in upright sitting, or who needs tilt as part of a pressure management plan. Tilt holds the hip and knee angles you have set while shifting load off the seat, and recline opens the hip angle for rest or for care tasks. Both are operated by a carer from behind the chair.
A sliding seat mechanism supports safer transfers, and the measuring scales marked on the frame let a technician set the chair to your prescription and record what was set. Backrest height, seat width, seat depth and seat height are all specified to the client, the armrests flip up and the legrests are angle adjustable. The chair is crash tested for travel in a vehicle.
