A bath stool with a fixed back, for clients who cannot stand for a full shower and need support behind them while they wash. The backrest is the point of difference for anyone with poor trunk control, fatigue or a tendency to slump forward when tired.
It gives a stable seated base in the shower recess or over the bath floor, with non slip feet to hold position on wet tiles. Sitting to wash reduces the fall risk at the moment people are most exposed, and it lets a client take their time in the water.
For carers, seated showering means the client is secure while attention goes to washing and drying, and there is no need to support standing balance at the same time.
