A narrow anti slip tape for the places where a hand or a foot needs grip and the surface will not give it. Stair nosings, ramp edges, transfer boards, frame handles and wheelchair footplates are the usual spots.
It is a contact tape, so you cut what you need, peel the backing and press it down on a clean dry surface. It is sold by the metre, which means an occupational therapist can order the exact run for a set of steps and not end up carrying a part used roll around in the car for a year.
The narrow width suits edges, nosings and handles. Once it is down, clean it the same way as the surface around it so grit does not pack into the texture and take the bite out of it.
