Standing is not a luxury function. For the right client it changes bowel and bladder management, tone, bone density and the simple ability to look someone in the eye. The Alltrack M3 Ascent puts a purpose built, fully adjustable standing module on a mid wheel drive power base, so the client gets standing without giving up the manoeuvrability they need at home.
The standing module comes with power tilt, recline and a power articulating centre mount foot platform, with power seat elevation available as an option. Together that lets a client change position through the day for comfort, pressure relief and function, rather than choosing one posture and living in it. The chair can be driven at a reduced speed while standing, which is what makes standing useful in a kitchen or a workshop instead of something that only happens parked.
Underneath it is the same Alltrack M3 base: patented dual-action suspension, fully independent six wheel interactive suspension, R-Net electronics and compatibility with Switch-It, Stealth, ASL and MO-VIS specialty controls.
Who it suits
A client with a clinical indication for standing, prescribed by a medical professional, who also needs a mid wheel drive base for indoor use. Introduction to a regular standing programme should be supervised by a qualified therapist.
