Who it suits
This is a full body mobile lifter for clients who cannot weight bear and need to be hoisted between bed, chair, commode and the floor. It suits home care where a single carer manages transfers, and facility use where the same lifter is shared across rooms.
The mast and boom carry the client through a wide lift arc, and the rotation system lets the carer turn the client while they are in the air, so a transfer can be finished without the carer dragging the base around the room. Powered leg spread is not needed to get in close: the legs open and close to clear chair bases and close down again for doorways.
The base is built to pass under most beds and the whole unit splits into parts light enough for one person to move, which helps if the lifter has to travel between houses.
