This Airgo cane pairs a Comfort-Plus offset handle with a MiniQuad tip: a small four-point base that pivots to meet the ground, self-centres, and lets the cane stand upright on its own when the user lets go.
The four-point base gives a client with mild balance loss something solid to work with, and it is small and light, so the cane is easy to advance and clears a step edge cleanly. It keeps full contact on uneven ground and on slopes.
The offset handle puts the user’s weight over the shaft rather than behind it, and the cushioned grip spreads pressure across the palm, so it suits clients with arthritic hands or those who load the cane heavily. The shaft is anodised aluminium with push-button height settings, a reflective wrist strap is fitted, and the cane carries a limited lifetime warranty.
Cane height and tip choice should be set by the prescribing clinician.
