This five section couch puts that tilt on a powered hi lo base, with twin motors driving the movements and arm supports that raise and lower for transfers or to rest an arm. The back and leg sections set a client up for chest physiotherapy, assessment or a long treatment.
Who it suits
Respiratory physiotherapy, cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis caseloads, and wards where chest clearance is part of the daily routine. Tilt positions do not suit every client, so screen for reflux, raised intracranial pressure and cardiac instability first.
