About this product

The Etac My-Loo Fixed replaces the existing toilet seat and bolts to the pan, adding height and a pair of arm supports to push up from and lower down on. Because it is fixed rather than freestanding, there is nothing to shift or knock out of place.

Three raise heights are made, so the lift can be matched to the client’s leg length and the pan they already have. The arm supports adjust for height as well, and both fold up out of the way; either can be removed, which is how you set it up against a wall. Quick-nuts fix it from above, so nobody has to reach under the pan rim. The seat is polypropylene with a soft TPE surface and a rear recess that makes cleaning easier, and the arms run on stainless steel.

Who it suits

A client who needs a modest, stable raise and something to push up on, for example after hip or knee replacement, with arthritis in the knees, or with reduced balance, and who has a toilet of their own where a fixed fitting is acceptable. The lowest raise suits a client who mostly needs the arms; the highest suits a tall client or a low pan. For a rental property or a client who cannot fit a bolt-on seat, an over-toilet frame gives similar support without tools, and a heavier client needs the support legs added.
