Lateral thoracic supports sit against the ribcage all day, and the cover is what takes the sweat, the friction and the washing. This neoprene cover is the replacement for a moulded LTS pad, so a worn cover does not mean replacing the whole support.

Neoprene has a little give and a slightly grippy surface, which helps the pad stay against the client as they move. The elastic edge pulls the cover tight over the pad so there are no folds to press into the skin.

It is latex free, and a carer can strip it and refit it in a minute, which makes regular washing realistic.
