This is the standing version of the iQ front wheel drive base. Standing has effects a seated chair cannot reach: load through the long bones, a change in bladder and bowel position, and the ability to be at eye level with the people in the room.
Prescribing a standing chair means checking range of motion, bone density and blood pressure response first, and the client needs a reason to stand that they will act on daily. Where those conditions are met, standing in the chair the client already drives beats a separate standing frame that has to be transferred into.
