Back support does a lot of the work in a tilt in space or powered chair, and the Vicair Multifunctional O2 Back is made for that job. It follows the line of the spine and redistributes pressure across the whole back surface, which matters for clients who sit for most of the day.

Hundreds of air-filled SmartCells sit in shaped compartments. They conform to the client’s back on their own, and you can move cells between compartments when someone has a scoliosis, a kyphosis or a fixed asymmetry that needs shaping into the support. It fastens to a solid back with hook and loop, and the Vicair Back Connector lets it go onto a tension adjustable back.

It works for clients with neuromuscular conditions, spinal curvature, quadriplegia and age related postural change, and it is used in both prevention and treatment of pressure injuries. The whole cushion is breathable and washable.
