The Aero X is a folding wheelchair for a client who self propels and needs a chair that goes into a car without a hoist or a second pair of hands. It folds through a cross brace, and snap in seat saddles lock the cross tubes so the chair still feels firm to push.
Adjustability is the reason clinicians reach for this one. The Tru Fit system clamps components onto the frame with no preset holes to work around, so centre of gravity, back angle, camber and seat height can be set precisely and reset later without buying new parts. Front ends are interchangeable and aftermarket seating fits straight on.
The standard build is aluminium, with a titanium upgrade available. Heavy duty, hemi and amputee configurations are all part of the range, so an unusual set of measurements can still be accommodated.
