About this product

Most power wheelchair prescriptions come down to a trade: outdoor stability or indoor turning circle. The Amylior Alltrack R3 hybrid wheel drive sits the drive wheels between the two conventional positions and gets much of both, holding the line outdoors while still turning inside a hallway or a bathroom.

It is a complex rehab base, not a catalogue chair. Seat width and seat-to-floor height adjust across a wide range, and power tilt, recline, seat elevation and elevating leg rests can all be specified, with a centre mount articulating foot platform or independent leg rests. Patented dual-action suspension, six wheel independent with vertical shock absorption, keeps the ride manageable over kerbs and broken paths. VR2 or R-Net electronics are available, and R-Net opens the door to alternative drive controls. The frame is transit compliant, and eight frame colours are offered.

Who it suits

A client with a permanent mobility need who spends real time outdoors on paths, kerbs and uneven ground but still has to get around a hallway, bathroom and kitchen, and who needs a full power seating package for postural or pressure reasons. For a client who lives almost entirely indoors in a tight unit, a true mid-wheel drive base such as the Glide Centro 2.0 will turn tighter still.

Good to know

  • Scripted and built to order: seat size, seating system, electronics and drive wheel size are chosen at prescription
  • Base weight is 57 to 59 kg before batteries and seating, so total chair weight is around 90 kg
  • Speed and range depend on the battery and motor package chosen
  • Transit tie-down compliant to ISO 7176-19 when fitted with the transit option
